We all recognize the “Grace Kelly” or “Audrey Hepburn” moments when personal style becomes an obvious revelation.
But, back in the 1990s, it was my first occasion to witness personal style come into being, developed even, into iconic proportions.
Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy managed to pull this feat off, recreating her “self” to express a magnitude of personal style.
Carolyn taught us that finding your personal style is more than possible, it is imminent when we combine motivation, knowledge of rules and the ability to break them, with true effort.
Notice the candid nature of the featured photo? Funny, but I rebel against the posed photographs in favor of an unintended “candid”, almost every time, and so I like the “caught-off-guard” appeal to this photo.
